A professional musician and DJ for 30 years, John has appeared at every major hotel and event facility in the Boston area. In demand as both a Disc Jockey and Karaoke host as well as a musician he has performed for such companies as Microsoft, Compaq, Gillette, CitiGroup, Dunkin Donuts, Fidelity Investments, Commonwealth Financial, Boston Beer Works (Sam Adams), the 2004 Democratic National Convention, Avaya, Interliant, IBM, Liberty Mutual, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Net Genesis, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Bain & Co., Houghton Miflin, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Prudential Financial, SkillSoft, Banana Republic, HPC Food Service, the Connecticut Food Association, Odyssey Cruise Lines, the Bil-Ray Group and Genuity. His non-intrusive and accommodating style has made him a top choice among event professionals in the New England area.
He has also DJ'd for TV's ElimiDATE on the WB Network and for Starwood Hotel's Level 10 Conference at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. The leading Sales and Conference Reps from Starwood Hotels and Resorts all across the United States attended this 3 day Conference. John provided the music for three consecutive days on March 29, 30 and 31, 2004.

When it comes to weddings and life events, many of Boston’s top catering executives and hotels not only refer John but have also used him for their own weddings or events. Among them the wedding
of Michelle Reid, Social Catering Manager from the Hampshire House and birthday parties for Judy
Brillhart, Director of Catering at the Sheraton Commander Hotel and Meredith Roser, Director of
Special Events at Brandeis University. In August of 2005, John Zucco DJ'd the going away party for Vera Manoukian, General Manager of the Westin Copley Place Hotel for a Middle Eastern themed event. Vera was promoted to Director of Operations for the "W" Hotels for the New York City area.

John is Secretary of the prestigious National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) where he sits on the executive board of the New England Chapter along with Catering Directors from such hotels
as the Four Seasons, the Ritz Carlton, the Hyatt Regency and the Copley Plaza. The New England Chapter chose John as the 2003 “Affiliate Member of the Year” and he was one of 12 people nationwide named to the NACE National “President’s List” in 2004. John also serves on the boards of the International Special Events Society (ISES) and the elite Boston Wedding Group.

Besides being the bandleader for the popular Boston wedding band Precision John also frequently appears on KISS108’s “Matty In The Morning” show as guitarist and bandleader for Matty’s house band The Flounders.
