We are very proud to announce that our very own Mike Amado has been selected as Boston Magazine's 2016 Best Wedding DJ. This is a tremendous honor and are very proud to be a part of this distinguished list!

DJ Mike Amado is the most sought after Event Disc Jockey in the country. Named as the BizBash Boston 2011 “DJ of the Year”, Mike is referred by more hotels and event facilities than any other entertainer in the “Special Events” industry. Mike currently performs at over 250 Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and Corporate Events per year from Boston to New York to California to Miami. When Red Sox Hall of Famer Jim Rice needed a DJ for his daughter’s wedding in 2010 “DJ Mike” got the call!

DJ Mike Amado has performed at private events for celebrities Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and former NFL Quarterback Doug Flutie. He has also performed with the World Champion New England Patriots’ Players Troy Brown, Richard Seymour, Teddy Bruschi, David Givens, and Christian Fouria at several events. Other performances during his illustrious career includes events for and with Will Smith, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Ice Cube, Tupac, Notorious BIG, Michael Bolton, Gladys Knight and Earth Wind and Fire.

The Knot has chosen DJ Mike Amado as one of their “Best of Wedding DJ’s” for the last five years and the area’s top hotel event directors know that Mike’s charismatic personality and ability to keep the dance floor packed can move any crowd. He is constantly referred by them to their elite clients.

Mike carries a huge library of music with him and always has constant internet access during an event should he need to download a song on iTunes or any other legal music service. “DJ Mike” also carries Big Band, Swing, Classical and ethnic music such as Italian, Cape Verdean, Jamaican, Greek, Jewish, Spanish, Haitian, Irish, Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, Polish, Indian, Albanian and more.

“DJ Mike” utilizes a state of the art sound system, which includes an all-digital library of music, and mixing consoles from, Rane, Denon & Pioneer. Sound Systems from JBL, QSC and Mackie. Mike uses only top of the line Shure wireless microphones that enable him to work the crowd on the floor and around the room. He always works with one assistant and can provide dancers upon request.

DJ Mike is the best!!
We used DJ Mike for our wedding over Labor Day weekend and I could not recommend him enough. Our friends and family could not stop raving about how great the music was. Not only was the music great, Mike was very professional and extremely helpful with planning and timing of the dances, speeches, etc. When it came to logistics he had great suggestions which really put me at ease. I was a bit all over the place leading up to the wedding and Mike was very flexible and accommodating with our last minute requests. Mike and his team truly made it a night to remember!
